  1. Quite impressive you got the answer straight off!
  2. My little boy went as Thomas the tank engine. I wasn't overly impressed by his choice as I think Thomas was a tv show first! But at the end of the day the Thomas books have encouraged my 4 year old to learn to read and embrace his story books. I figure that can only be a good thing!
  3. Have you tried anything by Karen Rose? She writes romantic thrillers. Her lead males are often quite strong and sexy
  4. I was the same. I was really disappointed too because everyone else I know has adored it. I felt let down!
  5. Only takes a day to read one of his novels though - most of the book is made up with half a page of text in big writing!
  6. I recently read The Search abour a dog trainer who trains search and rescue dogs. Loved it!
  7. Some are set in times gone by but it varies greatly. She's definitely worth a look
  8. Is it just me that thinks the 'celebrities' are very poor this year?! Hardly A list!
  9. I know I've read it and loved it but I can't remember what I thought of the ending so I couldn't have been all that disappointed by it! I do know that Susan Lewis can write a decent page turner though!
  10. I'm not really a Jane Green fan. I didn't like Babyville or The beach house. Don't really think she's in the same league as Susan Lewis to be honest.
  11. Can second Rosamunde Pilcher's coming home. One of my favourite books ever!
  12. I've read both Ellie and Camellia but I can't remember which order I read them in. If I were you I'd definitely go ahead and read Ellie. All Lesley Pearce books are worth a read. 'Hope' has been my favourite.
  13. I ADORE Melissa Hill and think the twists in her novels are really clever! Did you know she's also just started writing crime/thriller novels under the name Casey Hill? Can't wait to try her first novel!
  14. Many thanks for sharing the date! Love Martina Cole!
