  1. I figured it'd illustrate my devotion to books. Films are in many ways a natural rival. It's a total lie, though. >_>
  2. To he that asked, I'm doing English at Oxford. Thank you all for being so friendly. Seems like a fun forum.
  3. Thanks, you all are friendly. Last year my course was Anglo-Saxon, Victorian, and some theory like Adorno. This year I'm currently on Philip Sydney... I'm doing Middle English, Renaissance... basically 1100-1600. And some classics. Have to read a few books per week. :/ Currently reading Old Arcadia, Astrophil and Stella, some Shakespearian sonnets too, some Donne, some Wyatt, some Skelton...
  4. Kell, is there any chance of reading her Juvenilia writings? They're pretty enjoyable - more so than some of the later, full novel works, at times.
  5. Kell, sounds like a fun game. Here's mine. "That's the sort of person who writes to me, Tinsel. Men of rank and action. In their eyes I'm a worthy public figure - not an exmployer whose word can be flouted, as certain red-haired fairies seem to think." - The Xmas Files, Nicky Winder.
  6. Hey guys. I'm a student called Lance and I've mainly to discuss a book I just read, and also possibly discuss a few books I get for University reading lists. Seemed like a friendly place. So hi!

I highly recommend it, you guys should check it out if you haven't already.
