*laughs* Unfortunately, it's the book. But reading about grimy Marines is almost as good as watching them. And there are photos in the book. Oh, and on a serious note, it's a really really good book!

I suggested DD pulls some storing to get me some Marines for my security people (which I don't need, but DD insists, because he's being a pain in the a**) but that was no good. Apparently the camo gear isn't "inconspicuous" enough to city environment. Go figure!

I am, thank you. It was just a jammed muscle, Ski Guy's physio people were able to fix it. I'm still a bit cautious with it, won't carry my bag on my left shoulder and all that, but it's fine.

(I'm on antibiotics, but that's a different story! *laughs*)

I think it's the power of positive thinking. You sort of tricked yourself into liking it, as you had to in order to survive. Plus you knew you can get out of there in a fairly short time.

Well, you would be the main reason to make a stop at HK. I mean, I can shop for the Western brands right here in Europe, or in States. And for Chinese things, it's mainland for those. So you are the reason I'd come over. BUT, knowing BF, it's going to be all "let's stay here, enjoy the summer, hang out with everyone at the summer place." Argh! Oh well, the view is good, at least.

*laughs* Knowing Ski Guy's friends, nudity isn't unlikely. But yes, it's rather fascinating at the same time. I'll let you know if there's anything worth sharing once I get my hands on it.

Well, it IS a long trip. And if you ask me, it's much nicer to visit you guys in HK than in India. But that's me and my addiction to running water talking. ... If I get my way with BF (not the dirty way!!) we might be heading to China this summer too. I've been nagging at him for ages that I want to go. So far, nothing. We did have a blast island-hopping the Caribbean the summer before last, though. But I want to go to China! *pouts* Maybe we'll stop by in HK, too...

*laughs* This is the Mothers' Day present for BF's mom. I've been getting her something for some years now at Mothers' Day, in addition to getting her something on behalf of BF. *laughs*

I'm a bit scared about Henry coming back. I mean, Ski Guy's had it for quite some time, and his friends are positively crazy. I'm a bit worried of the contents of Henry.

Awww, that's great! She didn't visit you in India, did she? It must be really nice to see her again! And you'll have a few weeks to get your bearings of the place, get settled. Also good.

It's been fun, more than anything. And yes, to a degree, it has helped. Although now I'm here under the pretence of "I'm stitching at the same time, and it's important as I have to finish this by May 10". *laughs*

Sorry!! What can I say, I love it, I hope to make a career out of it, it's in a huge role in my life right now. I'm writing about it, watching it on TV, BF... My life IS about hockey right now. Hockey and yarn and econometric time series. Occasionally shoes. *laughs* I'll try to hold back the hockey talk.

It was okay. Yesterday was busy, today's about housework, school work, possibly a pilates class. And hockey, of course! *laughs* Sorry, but the world champs just started! Of course I have no personal investment this year, but it's still fun! And Hot Dream Guy is in the studio for the Finnish TV, so that's a constant reminded for me to finish my thesis and send it to him. So all good!
