  1. Glad you are enjoying it, Chrissy I found it very engaging from the first few chapters. I'm trying to get ahold of the second one now.
  2. Just finished The Dead Room by Chris Mooney. Now about to re-read Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning.
  3. I felt that was a bit petty. With that type of contest you expect to have to fight for your place, there is no need to bring it up after the fact.
  4. I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 last weekend. I liked it, I can't wait for the next one in July! The Time Traveller's Wife is another film I watched this week. It was the first time seeing it, I loved it and cried my eyes out. I'm such a sap
  5. I read Dissolution for the first time a few months back, thoroughly enjoyed it Being a history geek and a lover of mysteries, it has everything I want from a novel. I don't know why I haven't read the rest yet. So many books and so little time, I guess!
  6. I've tried reading that so many times, I even have it on cd and can't listen to it all the way through.
  7. I finished Devil Bones by Kathy Reichs. Wasn't that impressed. I never really am with her books, but sometimes I think I'll give them another go. Read about half of The Woman in Black. I get a very gothic, wintery feeling from this book. Perfect for a dark afternoon after just putting up the Christmas tree Shall continue with that this afternoon, then onto Mistletoe Mysteries, a collection of stories edited by Charlotte Macleod.
  8. wants a snow day. Not gonna happen. Work, work, work!

  9. Completely agree! What keeps making me mad too is Gavin constantly repeating "I think I did alright." NO, you didn't!
  10. I read 40 pages of the Once Upon a Holiday anthology, and I just started Devil Bones by Kathy Reichs. Hoping to make a trip the library this weekend. Squee!

  12. I won't I'm still going to ask for a Kindle, I think. I'm a reviewer so I tend to get all of my e-books free. I think I've only ever purchased one for my Sony reader.
  13. Completely... I went to the Dr. Who stag show in Brum just over a month ago. I actually quiet enjoyed it. Looking forward to the new series next year, although I hear they are splitting it in two.
  14. Completely agree My only problem is I find James Jordan terribly obnoxious after a while and he starts to grate on my nerves! I'm really starting to dislike Ann, she doesn't even seem to try; she just stomps around...it's annoying. Looking forward to tomorrow's show already.
