  1. What web browser are you using? It sounds like either the web browser is crashing or the machine cant cope with what you are doing.
  2. AVG can be had for free and should be enough if you are behind a router/firewall and another highly rated one is kaspersky although I have never used the later (i don't use anti-virus)
  3. could be that the internet connection is down, tech issues with the line/your isp. Could you give more details? how do you connect, how many computers etc

  6. I think this whole story begs the question are the children being padlocked away from the danger in the community or are they being padlocked in because THEY are a danger to the community. (I strongly suspect the latter )

  13. Not sure if its something you will consider but What I have done is had a rubber stamp made with a logo I have made and once I have read a book it gets stamped, you can have them custom made from people on ebay for about
  14. Tremendous , I look forward to this generation looking after me in my old age. Kids more likely to inhale legal substances than drugs
  15. Almost all webhosts/isp offer both so either way you are still open to any security holes, and as said above the email is often retained even if read via pop3/imap. I know I keep all my email, what is the point having a receipt or invoice sent that is deleted once I have read it? Unless you go to the bother of setting up your own mail server and locking it down to no webmail access and only your ip can connect, there are security issues. Also unless you set up encryption with pop3 your details are sent plainly over the internet which is less secure than using a https connection with webmail. *edit* Johnny - you may wish to look into thunderbird, it is a bit more secure than outlook (and looks prettier!)
  16. This is not true, whether by remote client or webmail you are still connecting to the same thing, neither is any more or less secure than the other.
  17. Books! documentaries random skills (I can lock pick, throw knives and juggle )
  18. I feel like this several times a year, I keep a stack of books I refer to as the "slam dunk pile" for just such an occasion, generally short books or very very easy to read books that help ease the feeling of it being a chore or break up the monotony of the book i am struggling with (but I rarely give up on the difficult book).

  22. I watched it. I was rather irritated at the woman IDS was meant to stay with, what with her just looking at him blankly as he attempted to explain what an mp is and where the houses of parliament are. Watching ep2 later on.
