Yes we have lots of Dick King Smith and just about the entire collection of Jacqueline Wilson who is one of my eldest daughters favourite authors.

I finished reading "You Drive Me Crazy" by Carole Matthews not long ago and can highly recommend it.

Two of my favourite authors for quite a while now have been Fiona Walker and Jill Mansell. Many a time have I had a strange look from my husband when they make me laugh out loud. I have to say that I have probably read most if not all the books mentioned on here as I am such a fan of Chick Lit book and if you saw the collection I have (three huge boxes in the loft one downstairs in my study!) you would understand why my husband keeps asking me not to buy any more!!!

All my children love books which Im really pleased about and I would love to know which authors you would recommend. I have three girls aged 5, 10 and 12 Thanks

Thanks for that, I haven't read this one yet but have seen it in the shops. Going to be a definite on my "To Read" list!

I've read all of these and I cant rate them highly enough, I think they are really enjoyable, light hearted and easy to read and at points had me laughing out loud. I love the fact that its series and you are following each stage and cant wait for any more.

I read this very recently but found it quite slow to get into in the beginning but once I did I really enjoyed it.

Sorry Carole I forgot to ask you any questions! Which are your favourite authors and did any of them inspire you to write?

I love Carole Matthews and have read most of her books cant wait to read her new one.

I really enjoyed this book and the other two. I was expecting not to because I was told by a lot of people that they felt the first book was the best and the others a let down after that. Whatever Cecelia Ahern writes she does it very well, the story is very easy to follow and I found it easy to get into from page 1.
