  1. I seem to be affected by the weather. During summer i tend to read chicklit type of books.Winter its usually classics like wuthering heights etc weather does affect our moods so i suppose it is all down to that really. i love to read different types of books and have no favorite types or authurs really. I just love books!! the look of them, the smell of them when they are new i couldnt live without books.I dread the day i cant see properly to read. i work in an ophthalmic dept at my local hospital and my patients are mainly very poor sighted and have to listen to audio books-which are great-but you cant beat being able to read a book yourself
  2. Thanks.Yes it does make sense.I think that is what puts me off reading it-it looks as though it will be a difficult book to stick with
  3. Has anyone read Captain Corelli? I have a copy and have thought about reading it several times but havent got round to it as i have so many other books on my TBR pile. Something about the book just lately makes me want to read it but I just wondered what reviews it has had and whether it is a good read.I saw the film so I think that is what has been putting me off reading it.I think when you have seen a film of a book it spoils the book really. Does anyone else agree? I would really appreciate some views
  4. This sounds a fab idea and I am up for it too.Its quite exciting isnt it?
  5. Virgin Blue sounds just the sort of book i am looking for.Just finished the Kite runner and I was at a loss what to read next.
