As much as I don't want this series to end, I can't wait for the season finale. It's gonna be cool!
Nice to see we have another Supernatural fan here fireball, me and Paula were getting lonely in this thread all by ourselves!! (Although we did have Jensen to keep us warm ) xx
I'm giving up on A Place Called Here, I can't get into it. I'm not doing very well lately, that's 2 in a row I've abandoned. However, I am enjoying Sophie's bakery for the Broken Hearted so I think I've found a book I'm actually going to finish!
I nearly fainted when I saw the words "turned down pages"!!!
I can never, EVER turn down the pages, it's my pet hate. I like a nice bookmark, although sometimes I have to resort to an Iceland till receipt!
I'm still reading A Place Called Here, but have also started Sophie's Bakery for the Broken Hearted by Lolly Winston, which I got free in a magazine ages ago. I'm really enjoying it, it's flowing along nicely at the start so I think I'm going to enjoy this one.
I've got The World According to Garp on my TBR pile. I haven't read any of his others, although I'm going to look out for A Prayer for Owen Meany as this seems to be one of his most popular books.
I'm really sorry, I know all the Margaret Atwood fans on here are going to hate me, but I just can't get into The Blind Assassin. It's just not my thing and I'm not enjoying it. Please forgive MA fans!
I've decided to give up and start on A Place Called Here by Cecelia Aherne.
I love going to the library, but ours is very small. They get all the new books in, but I usually have to order them because there are so many people after 1 copy! The staff are very friendly and know me and my children really well now. My boys have their own cards and enter all the reading schemes the library do to encourage kids to read. My eldest has got 3 medals from there, and my little one is reading towards getting a teddy bear!
The only problem with going to the library is that my TBR pile keeps getting bigger instead of smaller!
A friend of mine used to live in London and she says their library had a cafe in it so you could have a coffee while looking at the books you were thinking of taking out! How blissful would that be
LOL!! I bought The Notebook because i absolutely love the film, but just found it dull and boring. I was so disappointed. I can't believe they even bothered to make a film from it, although I'm glad they did.
