  1. I so want one of those cars fab link muggle
  2. I've been very fortunate in that I have loved every job I have had since leaving school many moons ago. First I was a shop assistant in a supermarket where I was taught all the ins and outs of the different sections which led to me being able to do holiday releif in the smaller community Co-ops. I left to have Kat and was a stay at home mum for a couple of years before becoming a doctor's receptionist, again I loved this job and it only ended because the GP sadly passed away so was made redundant. My next job was working behind a bar which I did for 7 years, even went back after leaving to have Hannah . I left there to move to Blackpool and help my MIL run a hotel, again I loved meeting new guests but wasn't too much of a fan of all the cleaning lol. We had to sell up when hubby had his accident and was in no state to take over from his mum who wanted to retire. I am now an admin officer for the DWP currently acting up to decision maker, apart from a little hick up a few weeks ago I do still enjoy working there. My dream job would be in a library or small bookstore closely followed by running a small farm
  3. Same here, I think it is running on all commercial radio stations
  4. I came home from work with 2 more books for Mt TBR! 206 bones by Kathy Reichs The Echo Man by Richard Montanari 50p from CIN book sale - bargain
  5. I'm up to 75% reading Before I Go To Sleep by S J Watson and loving it
  6. I'm a third way through Before I Go To Sleep by S J Watson and really enjoying it.
  7. I've finally managed to read a whole book!!!!! My mojo completely abandoned me and since June I haven't picked a book up but due to hanging around hospitals the last few days I took my kindle and decided to read some of the samples, but I also started, and finished, Touched By Angels by Peggy Webb and really enjoyed it, very predictable but easy to read a relatively short. Single mom Sarah Love is determined to make a fresh start in Alabama for herself and Jenny. Born special, Jenny struggles to do the things other four-year-olds take for granted. Sarah hadn't counted on Jenny escaping her vigilance and racing in front of Jake Townsend's motorcycle. And she certainly hadn't counted on falling for the sexy, complex daredevil who nearly wrecked his bike to save her child. Nor had Jake, who had lost his own child, expected to find himself drawn into the lives of a courageous mother and her stubborn, endearing daughter. Could Sarah and Jenny be his second chance? Could he be the hero Sarah and Jenny believe him to be? Hope I can keep this up and read another book before weekend
  8. Saw it advertised earlier this evening and thought I might give it a go, having second thoughts now
  9. Watching the Darts from Dublin right now
  10. My reading has been dire of late, I've not read anything book related since August (I think!) but today I had to wait for Hannah for about half an hour and thought I would read so out came my kindle, unfortunately it was broken! don't know how it happened but it has. A quick phone call to SquareTrade and a replacement is now on it's way. Can't fault their customer service.
  11. This has recently been added to Mt TBR, looking forward to getting started on it.
  12. I bought this the other day and will hopefully get round to reading it as soon as my mojo decides to come home!

  15. Hello and welcome from a fellow Prestonian, although I now live in Cleveleys. My eldest daughter Kat (who is a mod on here) still lives there.
  16. Easy....forgot to add the 27 classic books I'd put in another section on my kindle and just for good measure had another free one downloaded to it yesterday so by my reckoning that's 222 there really is no hope for me
