  1. Christmas Holiday 2018

We are all done with our decorating.....both outside and inside. IMHO, I think it looks nice. We got back from Disneyworld a couple weeks ago and their decorations were spectacular. The Grand Floridian Resort Lodge was just breathtaking. I really thought that I was in a movie setting. They had a huge Christmas tree plus a real gingerbread house that was out of this world. On top of this on the second floor balcony there was a large orchestra playing Christmas music.
  2. Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star - Willie Nelson
  3. Swinging On A Star - Frank Sinatra
  4. When You Wish Upon A Star - Stevie Wonder (nice song)
  5. Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
  6. I Wish It Would Rain - Temptations
  7. Making Love in the Rain - Herb Alpert
  8. What's Up In November 2018

We are leaving tomorrow for Disneyworld (Florida) for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It is a 600+ mi. drive to Florida and I hope to make the drive in about 9 hours.
  9. Just Walkin' In The Rain - Johnny Ray
  10. Rainy Days And Mondays - The Carpenters (I took a little license)
  11. Recommendations for me.

Actually, frankie started a topic where the forum members recommended their favorite books.
  12. If you enjoy medieval fiction

War of the Wolf is book 11 of the series. I may try book 1 and see if I like it, if so, it will give me a lot of reading.
  13. Stephen King

It took Stephen King 4 decades to complete the Dark Tower series. Glad I started them later so that I didn't have that much of a wait, but, they were worth whatever wait it took. the Dark Tower books Main article: The Dark Tower (series) In the late 1970s, King began what became a series of interconnected stories about a lone gunslinger, Roland, who pursues the "Man in Black" in an alternate-reality universe that is a cross between J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth and the American Wild West as depicted by Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone in their spaghetti Westerns. The first of these stories, The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger, was initially published in five installments by The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction under the editorship of Edward L. Ferman, from 1977 to 1981. The Gunslinger was continued as an eight-book epic series called The Dark Tower, whose books King wrote and published infrequently over four decades.
