  1. How did I guess? Just a wild guess, I guess. I also like the song that you posted of Kris's. Actually, I like all of the songs that Kris Kristofferson has written. He is an amazingly talented person and is very underrated as an actor. The version of Me And Bobby McGee that was sung by Janis Joplin is one of my all time favorite songs. It just blows your socks off.
  2. I really enjoyed "Oceans At The End of the Lane" although not near as much as Graveyard. Oceans is currently ranked as the 9th most popular book here in Greensboro, North Carolina. LOL, I had to buy Oceans as the library didn't have it yet. Have started Stardust tonight along with Throttle by Joe Hill/Stephen King
  3. It's All In The Game - Tommy Edwards (I screwed up my last one )
  4. It's A Wide, Wide, World - from the world's fair in the 60's
  5. No match. Go back to the previous song title........ Carolina In The Pines - Michael Martin Murphey
  6. Help me Make It Through The Night - Rita Coolidge and Kris Kristofferson
  7. Why Me Lord - Kris Kristofferson
  8. The Graveyard Book was my favorite but I really liked most all of his books that I have read. I have read all his books that our library carries, now I will have to start buying the books.
  9. Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind) - Loretta Lynn
  10. Chrissy - I looked up the KA to see what you bought. This was the article that I found. You should have fun and enjoy the car: FORD KA Funky, friendly and fantastic to drive, the new Ford Ka sets the new standard for small cars. Its Ford kinetic Design philosophy – all about creating a feeling of motion even while the car is still – has already received glowing reviews from the motoring press. And because it’s loaded with innovative technology, the Ka has the substance to match its style. For instance, parking in even the tightest of spaces is a piece of cake with automatic parking sensors that sound an alert when you’re getting close to the kerb. Plus tricky hill starts are a thing of the past with technology that keeps the car still without having to use the handbrake.
  11. Woman: Do you drink beer? Man: Yes Woman: How many beers a day? Man: Usually about 3 Woman: How much do you pay per beer? Man: £5.00 which includes a tip Woman: And how long have you been drinking? Man: About 20 years, I suppose Woman: So, a beer costs £5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at £450. In one year, it would be approximately £5,400, correct? Man: Correct Woman: If in 1 year you spend £5400, not accounting for inflation, the past 20 years puts your spending at £108,000, correct? Man: Correct Woman: Do you know that if you didn't drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a Jaguar? Man: Do you drink beer? Woman: No Man: Where's your Jaguar?
