  1. Thanks oh so much Kell for the referral on this author. I bought Bitten a long time ago but never got around to reading it until recently and I fell in love and am dying to have the rest of her books now. I also turned a fellow avid reader onto her as well and she's in heaven just like me. Thanks again!!!!
  2. I'm about halfway through the book now and he threw me for a loop and changed the way he was writing it for the second part. I'm hooked and I'm loving the way he's writing about the now and managing to fill us in on the past at the same time.
  3. The Three Sisters Trilogy is amazing, it's one of my favorites. The only other two I would recommend highly are Birthright, it was fantastically written and then I would also recomment The Three Fates.
  4. I'm thoroughly enjoying Son of a Witch and I can't wait to see where he goes with the story. It's gonna be a good one, I can already tell.
  5. Wicked was amazing. After Son of a Witch which I've already gotten a couple of chapters or more into it, I plan on picking up Mirror, Mirror. I just can't believe I didn't hear about his books sooner especially with as big of a Wizard of Oz fan as I am.
  6. So far I've read V.C. Andrews - Girl in the Shadows (For those of you that use to read but quit because it felt like the same thing being told with different characters, he's actually broken away from that mold and start telling totally different stories. The last 5 books he's written have actually been a nice change from the norm.) Gregory Maguire - Wicked (I absolutely loved it. Totally hooked, it made me go out and buy more of his books.) Danielle Steele - Kaleidoscope (An old favorite, just as good as I remembered.) Adding to my list to include. Gregory Maguire - Son of a Witch Lost Mirror, Mirror Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister Starting on Gregory Maguire's Son of a Witch today.
  7. I've read Wicked by Gregory Maguire, plus I've read Kaleidoscope by Danielle Steele and I just started on Girl in the Shadows by V.C. Andrews. Amazing, neither of those are on my list, oh well.
  8. Kelly Armstrong - Bitten Sara Douglass - Hades' Daughter Diana Gabaldon - Lord John and the Private Matter Stephen King - Everything's Eventual Dean Koontz - The Face From the Corner of His Eye Odd Thomas Life Expectancy Stephanie Laurens - A Fine Passion C.S. Lewis - Prince Caspian The Voyage of the Dawn Treader The Silver Chair The Last Battle Gregory Maguire - Wicked Read Margaret Mitchell - Gone With the Wind Nora Roberts (too many to list) Nicholas Sparks - The Notebook Not to mention the countless more I'll end up buying before the end of the year. Most likely more Kelley Armstrong books, I have all the e-books already, forgot to list them. Plus I plan on picking up at least Forever Odd by Dean Koontz.
  9. Glad you liked the book Kell. Hope you can find the subsequent ones as well. I love books set in Scotland even though I've never been there. And I related to her storyline as far as location goes in later books.
  10. I'd gladly lend you mine, if postage wasn't an issue. Somehow I think it could get a bit pricey shipping it that far, especially since I have book 5 & 6 in hardback.
  11. Jamie and Claire's love is undeniable and it really sucks you in. Claire and Jamie just have that magic everyone dreams of. And I'm with you, I don't see how she can really consider even going back to Frank after being with Jamie. I'll keep any spoilers to myself for the time being.

I sure hope so. I'm at a stopping point right now. I just finished The Horse and His Boy and I'm debating on what to read next, I so want to pick up a Dean Koontz but I've been in a Harry Potter mood, plus I'd like to try something new so I'm considering Bitten. One of these days I'll make a decision. Sorry I haven't been posting much, just been busy with my little one who can now roll clear across my living room in a matter of seconds, or at least it seems that way.
  13. I have no idea if there is actually a difference between Cross Sitch & Outlander. I've never looked into it. You'll have to let me know. Look forward to seeing what you have to say about it Michelle and Maureen.

I did buy Bitten & Odd Thomas. They're both now on my to read list. And I'm with you Maureen, I started The Horse & His Boy over a week ago and I just can't seem to make myself finish reading it, I am closer, in fact I'm gonna try to make myself finish it tonight just so I can move on. It does have Edmund, Peter, & Lucy in it but they're not in it much. It does kind of fit with the first two but it's just different in my opinion. Oh and the store I shopped at here in town only had Kelley Armstrongs first two books none of the rest, since I found your complete list of her works earlier when I stopped by and was trying to catch up on my posts. Didn't work but I tried. I got her e-books downloaded, just don't know what I will do when I get around to reading Bitten and can only find one of the her other books, guess it will be time to start searching the internet, oh joy, the fun stuff.

Cool, and I almost forgot, I'm on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and I'm loving the series!!!!!! And as I know my hubby hasn't read them either as soon as I finished the first one I handed it to him and told him he needed to read it as he would like it as well.
