My favourite poet is probably one not well known. She's called Joolz and is a performance poet, artist, author and general all round nice woman (I've met her a few times and she is very down to earth). I love the Foundation series - such an expansive series of books with twists and turns throughout. Asimov was one of the greates Science Fiction writers in my opinion - he always made it seem so believable.

Another big King fan here. My most read King book has to be The Stand. He seemed to capture real people living in extraordinary circumstances perfectly and I felt really connected to the characters. My other favourites are the ones he wrote as Richard Bachman - The Long Walk was truly inspired and stayed with me a long time after I finished it.
