I read the first of his books a few years ago and thought it was incredibly written, and a heart-wrenching story. I have the other 2 books but haven't read them yet. It is almost unbelievable sometimes to find out how differently some people live and grow up.

I thought the Philip Pullman books were incredibly well written! I bought them originally for my younger brother to read. Which he did and then insisted I read them too. And I am glad he did! I loved them. A fantastic series.
