  1. overcast, bit chilly, we have had lots of rain the last few days
  2. Totally grew up with Enid Blyton, read right into my teens when I should have been reading different books. Noddy was the first Enid Blyton book I remember reading

  4. Thank you, have reposted and its there, so must have pressed the wrong button
  5. Oh yes I agree with you, but on the forum I was on it was all women (not mumset or netmums). Not that there is anything wrong with all female forums They had got the knife out for a member and really being awful to her behind her back as there was another forum that everyone else used as well, there was also a mole on the first forum which was not me, anyway I stood up for her, asked her not to say it was me as she came across really nice on both forums and I wanted her to know before she shared anymore private stuff (I know we are all just names and will never know who people really are etc). Anyway she told, and then I made the scapegoat for the mole and eveyrone turned on me...... I was only tying to help a fellow poster who I thought I got on with and trusted not to tell, but she went on, told everyone she knew what was going on and then said I told them!!!! I won't go on because its boring, but yes I agree forums are for everyone to express a different opinion..... just being nosy which actor was it???? LOL.... you don't have to answer if you don't want to
  6. Good morning (Typed this the other day, tried to post it , don't know what I did wrong, don't think I pressed the correct buttons and it never made it here, so fingers and toes etc all crossed and hopefully I'll press the correct button and you'll be able to read and hopefully talk to me about this subject. LOL Think I'll need to brush up my pc skills an awful lot if I am going to do an OU course!!!!) So As title says Open University 1) Anyone doing Open University on here? 2) Anyone done OU on here? 3) Anyone thinking of doing OU on here? 4) Anyone just want to talk about OU in general or there free sister site OPEN LEARN I have done OU many moons ago, so far back over 16 years so they now don't count , but that's fine, just doing for me. I did level 1 in Arts and Humamaties 60 points and level 1 in Social Sciences part 1 and part 2 so another 60 points, for those who don't know OU you need to get 360 points over level 1,2 and 3. I have done quite a few free courses on Open Learn and have found a level 2 OU course A225 all about the history that I am intrested in, starts in October so am thinking about applying for the course as I feel ready to sit an exam course, until now I haven't thought my mind could contain info to sit an exam. Cost is quite high, know I can find time to study. Anyone want to talk OU or Open Learn? Hope so.

  10. Hello there, I'm new here as well, I can talk a lot as well once I get going. Just nervously joined this week.
  11. Good morning, That's sucks. I brought a new ladies bike before Christmas, the bike I had 23 years fell apart last year, I was just riding another bike from our shed as only needed a bike to go to work and shops with. The bike from the shed is a hybrid , tha'ts all I needed with a basket and a ticker to count my miles ...... can cycle 10 miles in an hour, go out early before work to cycle round town and when going to shops I go the long way to put some miles in. Anyway brought some nice skirts and dresses to wear last summer and realised I am unable to cock my leg over the bar wearing them and as I bike my bike everyday I'm not going to be able to wear them so just before Christmas I brought a ladies step through bike with a basket and lights from Halfords for just over £300 pounds. It's quite a nice bike. I had a couple of glasses of wine last night...... its a shame how things can come across on forums, but pleased you found this forum. I joined very nervously. What you reading? I've nearly finished Answered Prayers by Danielle Steel, its has a pretty good plot Not quite sure what I'm going to read next. Will finish it hopefully tomorrow, will choose a thin book I can finish before Thursday as I am off to Scotland next Friday until Monday so need a good thick book to take with me. Enjoy your weekend.
  12. Hi, Thank you for your reply. The Crunchies adverts were fun (I'm 58 years young) About fifteen years ago was working as a passenger assistant taking disabled children to and from school and my driver and myself took in turns each week to buy us both a Crunchie bar...... I used to like to stick my tongue in the middle and make a hole in the honeycomb!!!!!!
