Open Windows - A children's story, probably dating from the 40's or 50's. Regrettably, author unknown. Story concerns a child in poor health sent to the countryside to convalesce and the adventures which ensue prior to his recovery. You now know as much as I do. My wife has been trying to find this for some years now. Googling "open windows" produces the results you might expect from a system run by Microsoft! I hope that this will trigger someone's memory. Evening all and thank you for accepting me as a member. I come seeking knowledge for a Christmas present for MrsP, who seems to be gradually collecting all of her childhood books from the 60's and 70's. The Chalet School books now have a shelf just for them! My tastes tend to be more technical related, as I'm a classic car restorer, so all things (old) automotive get voraciously devoured, as well as classic detective fiction and action thrillers.
