I am searching for a Reader Digest Book on crime and crime alone and how the development of modern science causes actual crimes to be solved.
For instance there is a story on rat poison and its effect on the human body. How it can't be detected by the victim because it is odourless and tasteless. And how modern sciene (at that time) solved this problem. And the first case when it actually made an impact in a murder case and a criminal was convicted.
The book is filled with stories like this one.
I have read this book when I was young. I am born in 1968. So that means that the book is from around that period.
