  1. first name that came to my head when I read the thread title was Stieg Larsson. I haven't even read the 4th book, I might look into it, but I agree with you, I enjoyed the first 3 very much and I think I read somewhere that he had planned to make it an 8 books series about Lisbeth Salander? it's really a pity he died so young. I would have loved to read more by Oscar Wilde as well.
  2. Last film I watched was 10 Things I Hate About You. It was a re-watch or rather the 3rd time I watched it, it's one of my favourite romcoms which is a genre I don't watch a lot, but this one never gets old
  3. The same happened to me as well! It just didn't grip me enough. I intend to finish it eventually though. I've read "The Double" since that and enjoyed it, so I definitely need to give "Crime and Punishment" another go.
  4. "A History of Nearly Everything" has been on my TBR shelf for way too long. reading all your comments on his work makes me wanna start reading it soon hope it's as good as the other ones you've all mentioned!
  5. I almost couldn't finish The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I forced myself to finish it but I might as well have stopped, I didn't enjoy it very much. when I reread the Hobbit I couldn't finish it either, even though I absolutely loved it when I first read it at the age of 13. When I read it again several years later I lost interest about halfway through, I don't know why. I didn't read much back then though so maybe I was just in a general reading slump
