I've just finished reading it and although obviously it would have been a lot more enjoyable to read as a novel, I did enjoy the story as a whole. I'm not one to criticise Rowling, who am I to do that, but I feel she could make a whole new set of books based on this story and really take off with it. Give us more depth and detail and bring it to life in cinemas again

I'm just over halfway through Disclaimer by Renee Knight. When I'm done with this I'll start with The Cursed Child which arrived this morning.

Today for the first time in 9 years I will be signing on for job seekers. I'm gonna really knuckle down this month and try to do some writing now I have the time. Also looking forward to the new football season this weekend

I've just finished reading it and I thought it was O.K. I certainly see what most of you mean about it being overrated. There were no huge shocks. One thing that disappointed me a little was that I found myself getting lost in Flynn's descriptions of virtually everything, some taking up almost two pages of not so vital information that veered away from the actual story. The ending, as a lot of you agree, was a let down and looked very rushed. It's not bad, this is the second thriller novel I have read after Girl on the train and gone girl definitely comes second.

This was recommended to me by Frankie in my introduction post yesterday and I went out today to buy it. I'm finishing off Gone Girl first but I can't wait to read this.

Hi everyone. I'm Danny, I'm 27 years old. I am recently unemployed and have taken up reading to occupy my mind. I have flirted with reading in the past but never really had the time but over the past week or so, after reading Paula Hawkins debut novel 'The girl on the train' I just can't wait to sample more crime fiction! What a read that was. I also try to write, it's a dream of mine to be able to finish my own book someday. Hopefully I get the chance to speak to most of you in the coming weeks.
