  1. It really depends on whether or not I like the book! It took me two weeks, not straight obviously, to read Before I Go To Sleep but I read Twilight A lot faster! I actually got Twilight for a two hour car journey, just so I had something to do but I was hooked by it! My mom had bought me the series just because they were all there and from anout two o'clock friday afternoon to four o'clock Saturday afternoon I had finished all four! I pretty much stayed up all night reading! :-)
  2. This has to be my all time favourite book! I never used to be much of a reader but I always loved writing. However when I was 11 my class hosted a readathon for MS research, a very worthy cause. We all had a month to read as many books as possible and we would be sponsored for every book we chose. I have to admit that this seemed like a terribly daunting task for me. I don't even think I have read a book up to that point. I can't remember the very first book I read but I do remember that after one week I was only on chapter 4! I decided that the book wasn't for me and picked a new one, although I did add it to my list for sponsorship! The next book was Michael Morpurgo's. Once I started I literally couldn't put it down. I read it all day, I stayed up late to keep reading it and finished it at the end of the next day. I love that book! That pretty much opened the floodgates into my reading career! I read fifteen books at the end if the month, a huge achievement for me! Since then I haven't stopped reading!! I would definitely recommend Alone on a wide wide sea to evetyone!! It's a tale of a brother and sister seperated by tragic circumstances but they never stopped looking for each other! You won't regret reading it, I promise!
  3. I really enjoy young adult adventure books!!!! I've just published my very own adventure book, Thunderstorm, and have just finished reading the Hunger Games, for the millionth time. I also like the classics, Jane Austen etc. I also enjoy fantasy like Twilight or A Great and Terrible Beauty. I also like booms on mythology or based on mythology like Percy Jackson. It's been a while since I've found a really good book so hopefully I'll find one here!!
  4. Hi everyone! My name is Sophie McNeill and I'm an up and coming author. I published my first ebook, Thunderstorm for young teens (10-13). I love to read and write and I've always enjoyed book clubs. Since publishing Thunderstorm I've really gotten in to reading ebooks! I never used to read books online and I only occassionally read my Kindle but now I'm finding so many books to read that I don't know where to start! I joined The Book Club Forum to get some guidance as to what's good and what's worth a miss! I also hope to see my book on here soon! I look forward to reading with you! Sophie
