  1. It's a picture in the middle of the book, the illustration of the photo is at the front of the book but I'm trying to locate the source for it.
  2. I've got the book Hitler and Stalin: Parallel lives by Alan Bullock and there is an image of Hitler in his Brown Desk in Munich around 1931 and I've tried Googling it but to no avail, where in the book will be the place to find the sources for all images used? Thanks.
  3. I've just went onto Amazon and got myself four books for the next couple of months (big books) and two of them I have just seen for cheaper than what I got on the second hand option because I didn't bother looking at the brand new price and just scrolled down (Amazon) to see one that said like brand new, both were only a couple of pounds more but I was wondering whether anybody else has had this funny thing happen to them. xD
  4. I always just read one at a time, it makes you concentrate more and stick to one at a time.
  5. I've just went onto the barnes and nobles website to get the book Hitler, Germans and the Jewish Question by Sarah Ann Gordon for $5.00 and the estimated shipping delivery cost is $19.99 which is the delivery charge but does this include import duties? The website information says: "On International orders, customs and import duties are applied once the shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and will vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details." "*** International Customs/Import Duties and Local Delivery - On International orders, customs and import duties are applied once the shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and will vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details." So is the charges you pay just what is at the checkout and that is final or do you have to pay more when the book (or whatever you order) actually arrives? This whole international thing is confusing me!
  6. I've recently been looking at amazon prices from .co.uk and .com and other foreign websites (I live in UK), why is it sometimes cheaper to buy the book from say .com than my country .co.uk???
