  1. The word quirky comes up a lot when I think of him too
  2. Wow I should have answered this already Ok I love his style, more specifically the random nature of what he writes and yet he keeps to the story line. He seems very unforgiving and unapologetic if that makes sense. I don't know if that helps at all Foxface

Thank you all for the warm welcome I keep hearing about Girl With the DragonTattoo...I have got to get off my butt and just read that And Neil Gaiman will probably be in my future Thanks! Nightside Trilogy by Simon R Gray which led me into Jim Butcher and the Dresden Files. After that I just started reading all the time. Nonfiction (usually about quantum physics or psychology, my chosen profession) or fiction (usually fantasy or sci fi)...and Hunger Games (if that wasn't evident by my screen name) Foxface
  4. So I like Vonnegut's works especially Breakfast of Champions I know this is broad but can someone suggest another author with a sort of style as Kurt? Thanks...sorry I'm a newb Foxface

Good evening. My name is Foxface (Dan). I am 34, married and quite happy. For many years of my life I shunned reading until one day I picked up a book and said "I will not stop until this is read." After about 2 weeks it was read and well now I am in love. So I have read a lot since then and now I want to learn more and read more. So I deided to come here and meet like minded (and much more knowledgeable people) like yourselves and find new books to read a little about myself. I like depth and insanity in my books. I love Vonnegut but I need to branch out so please treat a literary newbie like myself gently :-) Foxface
