  1. Been hearing great reviews about Battle Royale. Unfortunately, I still need to squeeze it in my schedule. Hopefully, next month I can start on this.
  2. He's definitely one of my favourite authors. A Walk to Remember and The Notebook tops my list. I found them to be sad stories, but I'd read them again. That's how much I love N.S. books!
  3. I remember this book. I loved the cover and the title intrigued me. It resulted to me buying the book even if I wasn't supposed to. Nevertheless, it was a great read and I don't regret buying it. I'd recommend it anytime.
  4. Thanks for this guide. This will definitely help me when I am finally able to start a book-related blog.
  5. Title sounds interesting. I'll have a look at it one of these days.
  6. I'm curious. This is the first time I've heard about LBD and it looks like it has nothing to do with shopping or clothes. Haha! Can someone please tell me what it's about?
  7. Accidentally found this section and I've decided I'd like to post my reading list on here, too. Read: Kiera Cass The Elite The Selection Dan Brown Angels and Demons Da Vinci Code Lost Symbol Deception Point Digital Fortress Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl Beautiful Creatures series (all books) George R.R. Martin A song of Ice and Fire (from A Game of Thrones to Dancing with Dragons) J.K. Rowling All HP Books Sophie Kinsella All Shopaholic books Can you Keep a secret? Twenties Girl Undomestic Goddess That's it for now. Will update this again soon!
  8. I totally agree with Vimes! If only I had the cash then I would spend much of them on books. haha! Anyway, is the Percy Jackson series worth reading? Didn't like the movies much, but I'm willing to give the books a try. I have read the Selection series by Kiera Cass. I loved the characters. Waiting to get my hands on The Prince (book 3) I am currently reading City of Lost Souls (Mortal Instruments series). Pretty good, too. And my bff mentioned Divergent. It's all she talks about lately so I'm guessing it is good as well.
  9. hi Chrissy, I am currently reading the Mortal Instruments books and I honestly love it. However, I didn't notice that the parents were in fact absent most of the time. Now that you have mentioned it, it may seem like a person is only adventurous if he has suffered some absence in the family. However, what if it is just a portrayal of real life? I mean, we know how young adults are--wanting to act this and that when the parents aren't looking. On the other hand, young adults/readers shouldn't always see it this way. We still need to act accordingly whether or not our parents or guardians are with us.
