Vimes, you are right about that. The Abagnale book was non-fiction but it reads like fiction! I listened to it on audio and remember walking down the street chuckling out lout. An amazing tale!

The Martian by Andy Weir and R. C. Bray was a fantastic book I recently read on my Kindle. I liked is so much I immediately read it a second time. Also on Kindle, I really enjoyed The Rho Agenda trilogy starting with The Second Ship, by Richard Phillips. All three were equally good but need to be read in order.

I finished The Book Thief one day when I was home from work and sick. I sat on the couch reading and when I finished, I was crying. I couldn't bear to be finished, so I too reread it again immediately. I also read the I Am The Messenger book by Zusak. Very nice, too, but without the impact I had from the first one.

I have two books going at any time. One is an audiobook and the other is on my Kindle. Lately, I have been finishing them around the same time. I get to pick two new ones to read--fun!

I only re-read the books that I loved so much I can't get them out of my mind or I can't stand to say goodbye to the characters. It is just a few a year, not many. Books that I have loved and reread immediately are The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Dog Stars by Peter Heller (audio best), The Book of Ebenezer le Page by G. B. Edwards (must be audio, the narration is awesome), and The Martian by Andy Weir (on my Kindle). I am planning on re-listening to The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey by Candice Millard.

I loved The Fault in Our Stars. Another book that affected me similarly is The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. Don't be put off by the fact that the narrator is Death. It also had funny, pleasant parts along with sadness. It's another book that I finished, could not bear for it to be over, and immediately restarted it (once I stopped crying and dried my eyes). It is listed as YA but I really don't think it should be. It is amazing!

My all time favorite is one I recently listened to as an audiobook. If at all possible, it should be listened to. It is The Dog Stars by Peter Heller. I loved it so much I listened to it twice in a row.
