  1. I am a guy. And married. And, I read the book, after wondering what all of the fuss was about. Very poorly written...no imagination, I was shocked that the book was even published, let alone there are 2 more out....hell, I could have written it in highschool. That being said...kudos for the author to get his book published. Wonder if there is an underlying issue...as the scenes are very graphic. Paul
  2. I will take my all time personal favorite...."Where the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls. Yes, yes...a bit cheesy, and not a "classic"....but I find myself drawn to it over and over again.
  3. Hey guys! New to the site. Love it so far! I remember reading a series of books when I was 6 or 7, and I loved them. I would like to possibly get them for my daughter, but have forgotten the name and author. Hoping that the vast knowledge of people can help me out. The books centered on either a mouse or a rat (I forget exactly), who would venture into the wide world, and create things (roller coasters, etc) to pass the time. I remember there were quite a few books (10-20) in the series....and I've been trying to find them for the past 30 or so years. The name "Einstein" has always stuck with me throughout the years, either the name of the mouse, or a character in the book.... Thanks for all your help, I look forward to the replies. Paul
